To earn 3x CT Money you must link your eligible RBC debit or credit card (excluding RBC commercial credit card) to your Triangle Rewards account, and present your Triangle Rewards card when you make a qualifying purchase at Canadian Tire or designated Partner locations, and pay with your Linked RBC Card. The 3x CT Money consists of the .4% base rate earned by Triangle Rewards members X 3 for a total of 1.2% of the pre-tax amount of the qualifying purchase and is exclusive of any bonus or promotional offers. Linked Loyalty Benefit

You must be a registered member in good standing of each of the Triangle Rewards^® Program and the Tims Rewards™ Program to link your accounts and to participate in the Linked Loyalty Benefit.  In order to earn CT Money^®, your Tims Rewards Account (Physical or Digital Card) must be linked with your Triangle Rewards Account prior to your purchase and must remain linked until any CT Money is credited to your Triangle Rewards Account. 

CT Money^® Earn Rate:
Linked Members will earn CT Money at participating Tim Hortons^® locations in accordance with the earn rates listed below: 

a) Present/Scan a Tim Hortons Physical or Digital Card/Order through the Tim Hortons app: Earn 2% in CT Money on a Tim Hortons Eligible Purchase Transaction (pre-tax) (“Linked Loyalty Benefit Earn Rate”)

b) Pay with Triangle credit card: Earn 2% in CT Money on the total spend of a Tim Hortons purchase (post -tax) (“Triangle Credit Card Earn Rate”)

c) Pay with Triangle credit card and present/scan Tim Hortons Physical or Digital Card/ order through the Tim Hortons app: Triangle Credit Card Earn Rate + Linked Loyalty Benefit Earn Rate

d) Pay with Triangle credit card using Scan & Pay in the Tim Hortons app:  Triangle Credit Card Earn Rate + Linked Loyalty Benefit Earn Rate + Additional 1% in CT Money on a Tim Hortons Eligible Purchase Transaction (pre-tax) (“Scan & Pay Bonus”) 

These Linked Loyalty Benefit earn rates are inclusive of any Triangle credit card earn rates that are already applied in accordance with the Triangle Rewards Program Terms and Conditions. Refer to the Triangle Rewards' Partner Page for additional information. 

A Tim Hortons Eligible Purchase Transaction and Excluded Items are defined in the Tims Rewards Terms and Conditions.    

Paper CT Money will not be issued.

Not all Tim Hortons locations participate in the Linked Loyalty Benefit (i.e. select restaurant locations at hospitals, airport and universities). To determine if a Tim Hortons location is a participating location, please ask the Tim Hortons location or visit Tims Guest Care.  

CT Money cannot be redeemed for any purchases at Tim Hortons or used as a credit against an outstanding balance on a Tim Hortons credit card account. 

You can unlink your Triangle Rewards Account and Tims Rewards Account at any time; however, prior to unlinking, Linked Members must ensure any CT Money earned has been processed and credited to their Triangle Rewards Account.

WestJet Rewards is a Partner of the Triangle Rewards^® program. Registered members of Triangle Rewards and WestJet Rewards can link their accounts. Linked members will be able to collect CT Money^® on qualifying purchases at WestJet and earn WestJet points on qualifying purchases at participating Triangle Rewards stores including Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, Mark’s, Party City Sports Experts, Atmosphere, Hockey Life, Hockey Express, L’Équipeur, Sports Rousseau, Hockey Experts, L’Entrepôt du Hockey.

Qualifying purchases at WestJet consist of flights, vacations, checked bags, seat selection and cabin upgrades. The amount of CT Money collected on WestJet purchases depends on the value of the items purchased. CTM earned at WestJet is not issued at the time of purchase and will be awarded within 30 days of completion of each segment of your flight. Linked members will collect CT Money at WestJet at the following rates:
0.4% when paying with cash, debit, or any credit card not issued by Canadian Tire Bank.
1.0% when paying with a Triangle credit card issued by Canadian Tire Bank and booked directly with WestJet.

Linked members will earn WestJet points at Triangle Rewards Stores at the following rates:
0.5% when paying with cash, debit, or any credit card not issued by Canadian Tire Bank.
1.0% when paying with an eligible WestJet RBC Mastercard. 

Linked members will be able to collect both CT Money and WestJet points on eligible purchases at Triangle Rewards Stores and for select WestJet flights, vacations, checked bags, seat selection and cabin upgrades. Paper CT Money^® will not be issued.

Linked members will also be able to convert WestJet points into CT Money. Conversion is at the discretion of Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited and may be suspended or cancelled at any time and may be subject to limits and minimum thresholds on the amount of WestJet points that can be converted. The rate of conversion can change from time to time without notice. The initial rate of conversion will be 120 WestJet points to $1 in CT Money. A maximum limit may be imposed and can change from time to time without notice.
