Minimum age may vary by location. An additional daily surcharge may apply for renters under 25 years old.

8 You will receive CT Money at double the applicable rate, on qualifying Avis and Budget car rentals. The bonus will be applied to your Triangle Rewards account within 10 business days of the transaction post date.

12 To participate in the Petro-Points program you must enroll or activate online. Learn more at petro-points.ca/join. The collection of Petro-Points excludes taxes on non-petroleum purchases, tobacco, vaping products, gift cards and transit tickets.

13 You must have a registered account with both Triangle Rewards and Petro-Points to link your accounts. Each time you use your linked Triangle Rewards or Petro-Points card (or any payment card previously linked with such accounts) on qualifying purchases at Petro-Canada and participating Gas+ locations, you will earn a bonus of twenty percent (20%) more Petro-Points than you would normally earn (excluding any other partner bonuses), in accordance with the Petro-Points terms and conditions available at petro-points.ca/terms

^ Financing available is “Equal payments, no interest” for 24 months (unless otherwise stated) and is only available on request, on approved credit and on purchases of $150 (unless otherwise stated) or more (Gift Cards excluded) made with your Triangle credit card at Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, Mark’s, L’Équipeur, Atmosphere, Sports Rousseau, Hockey Experts, L’Entrepôt du Hockey and participating Sports Experts. Interest does not accrue during the period of the plan. However, if we do not receive the full minimum due on a statement within 59 days of the date of that statement, or any event of default (other than a payment default) occurs under your Cardmember Agreement, all special payment plans on your account will terminate and (i) you will then be charged interest on the balances outstanding on such plans at the applicable regular annual rate from the day after the date of your next statement, and (ii) the balances outstanding will form part of the balance due on that statement. There is no administration fee charged for entering into a special payments plan. Each month during an equal payments plan you are required to pay in full by the due date that month’s equal payments plan instalment. Any unpaid portion not received by the due date will no longer form part of the equal payments plan and interest will accrue on that amount from the day after the date of your next statement at the applicable regular annual rate. Additional information for residents of Quebec only: The regular annual rate for persons applying for the Triangle Mastercard and the Triangle World Elite Mastercard is 21.99% for cash transactions and related fees and 21.99% for all other charges. Some applicants may receive a higher or lower regular annual rate depending on a credit evaluation. The minimum payment is the sum of (a) the greater of: (i) interest and fees shown on your statement + $10; or (ii) 5% of the New Balance, excluding amounts on special payment plans, (b) any balance over your credit limit, (c) any amounts past due not included in (b) above, and (d) the amount of any equal payments plan instalments then due. Balances under $10 are due in full. For accounts opened prior to June 13, 2019 the rate of 5% will start at 2% and increase by 0.5% each August 1st until it reaches 5%. For residents of Quebec, the period between the statement date and the due date for payment is 26 days. The billing period covered by each statement can be from 28-33 days. The Triangle Mastercard and the Triangle World Elite Mastercard do not have an annual fee. Examples of borrowing costs (rounded to the nearest cent) assuming that all charges are purchases bearing interest at the regular annual rate of 21.99%, a 30 day month, no charges made on special payment plans and no other fees, additional payments or other changes are:

Annual Interest Rate(s):
If you reside outside of Quebec: All charges to your account (excluding cash transactions and related fees) — 21.99%.

Cash transactions (for example: cash advances, balance transfers, convenience cheques, money transfers, purchase of travellers cheques and gambling transactions) and related fees — 22.99%.

If you are not approved for a card at the above rates, Canadian Tire Bank may still issue you a card at the following annual interest rates: 25.99% for all charges (excluding cash transactions and related fees) and 27.99% for cash transactions and related fees.

If you are a resident of Quebec: All charges to your account (including cash transactions and related fees) — 21.99%.

Foreign Exchange Conversion: All transactions made in a foreign currency will be converted to Canadian currency at the then current Mastercard conversion rate plus 2.5% (for charges to your account) or minus 2.5% (for credits to your account) when the transaction is posted to your account.

Annual Fee: None

Other Fees:

Cash Advance Fee: 3% of the amount of the transaction, up to a maximum of $10 - charged for cash withdrawals and other cash transactions (excluding balance transfers and convenience cheques) when the transaction is posted to your account.

Charges for Copies: $2 — Charged when you request a copy of a statement.

Credit Balance Fee: The lesser of $2 or the amount of your credit balance - Charged on the last day of a billing period when there is a credit balance on the account and the account has been inactive (other than any credit balance fees) for the previous 2 billing periods.

Accrual of Interest:

Interest accrues daily on each charge from the date of the transaction giving rise to the particular charge.

Renewal/Cancellation/Changes: The subscription runs for 1 year from the time we confirm registration. You can cancel anytime, but cancellation will only be effective at the end of the subscription term. No refunds provided. Quebec residents see below. We can make changes to the program or cancel Triangle Select at any time on 30 days notice. We can cancel your subscription immediately if certain events occur.

Your subscription will renew automatically unless: (i) you reside in Quebec; (ii) you reside in Alberta and you have not selected automatic renewal on enrollment; (iii) you have logged into your account on the Triangle Rewards web site and have switched-off automatic renewal before your current Subscription Term expires; or (iv) we are unable to process the payment for the Subscription Fee for the renewal Subscription Term.
